hELPING cREATE A PATH TO OUR FUTURE

Organized in 1993, the Holt County 4-H Foundation was created to encourage and obtain charitable gifts to aid in the continuation and advance of our 4-H program and activities.

     Youth participating in 4-H programs gain valuable leadership skills, develop their decision-making capabilities, increase their appreciation for community service, and learn to set goals, plan projects and solve problems. 4-H provides a service-learning environment where youth learn to communicate more effectively and are motivated to make a difference, today and tomorrow.

     The Holt County 4-H Foundation seeks to ensure that our children and their leaders have the opportunity to benefit from the 4-H experience so they may develop the trademark of successful citizens - responsibility, leadership and integrity.

The Holt County 4-H Foundation supports the
4-H youth program by providing:

• Grants to clubs to help fund a club activity, sponsor a learning activity, do improvements to their adopted building at the fair grounds, sponsor a workshop, or other activity of the applicant’s choice
• Grants for 4-H youth to attend a leadership or citizenship conference, learning experience, camp, or other activity of the applicant's choice.
• Grants for adult leaders to attend training courses and leadership development activities.
• Funding for awards and recognition, incentives, trips, and scholarships.
